Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Deltrace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including waitlist members and early access participants.

2. Description of Service

Deltrace is a semantic code compression layer for coding agents. The CLI registers a local MCP server that can sync source code, parse it into structured chunks, and return relevant context when Claude Code, Codex, or another supported agent requests it. Deltrace does not provide AI model services itself.

3. Early Access

The Service is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time without notice. We make no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or feature continuity during this period.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. You must:

• —Provide accurate information when creating an account.
• —Keep your API keys confidential and not share them publicly.
• —Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• —Use the Service only for lawful purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• —Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• —Upload code or data that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• —Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or compromise the security of the Service.
• —Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission.
• —Abuse rate limits or use automated means to overload the infrastructure.

7. Your Code & Data

You retain full ownership of your source code. By using the Service, you grant Deltrace a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store semantic representations of your code solely for the purpose of providing context injection. We do not use your code to train AI models or share it with third parties beyond what is required to operate the Service.

8. Third-Party AI APIs

Deltrace forwards your requests to third-party AI providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) using your own API keys. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. Deltrace is not responsible for the output, cost, or availability of third-party AI services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular result from AI model requests.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deltrace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or revenue.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
